MARDI GRAS LUNCHEON

For many of us January is a sad time and we tend to feel a little let down after all of the Holiday preparations and festivities with family and friends. This luncheon is sure to brighten your spirits and help you celebrate the New Year as you plan ahead for the many activities you will participate in.

In keeping with the New Orleans theme, many board members will wear a Mardi Gras mask and we encourage you to do the same. Everyone will vote for their favorite mask and the winner will receive a small monetary prize. In addition to a great menu designed by Chef Mik, musical entertainment will be provided by the Smith Helms Trio. The trio features a female vocalist, who will wow you with Blues and Jazz numbers, a keyboard and bass player. So ladies, put on your dancing shoes and come ready to party!

                              Soup: Gumbo

1.  Stuffed Chicken Rockefeller (Chicken breast stuffed with bacon, cheese, onion and spinach)

2.  Steak Sardu (Tenderloin w/poached egg, artichokes, spinach and Hollandaise Sauce)

Desert: Crème Brule

Please indicate your menu choice (#1 or #2) on your check, along with the names of your guests.

Cost of the luncheon is $18.00 each payable to Women of Sugarmill Woods. This small increase in luncheon cost is due to higher prices charged by the venue. Place your checks in the Luncheon Slot, box #6, in the WSW mailboxes located at the main entrance to Cypress Village off US 19 no later than Friday, January 13th at 6:00 p.m. No envelopes please.
